What this reading
is, and isn't.
Seen reads a connection back to you. It is a mirror, not an authority — here is what that means, and where the edges are.
Effective July 19, 2026
Who this is for
You must be at least 18 years old to use Seen, or the age of legal majority where you live if that's older. The subject matter — situationships, unclear connections, the ache of not knowing where you stand — is written for adults navigating adult relationships. If you're not yet there, this isn't the right mirror for you yet.
What Seen is
Seen is a symbolic, literary reading tool. It reads tarot cards and the real positions of the sky, and turns them into language about a connection you're holding — the kind that reflects a feeling back to you rather than telling you what to do. Every reading you get, including the ones behind a paywall, is generated for you, in the moment, by a large language model prompted with what you wrote and the cards you drew.
That means Seen's readings are interpretive, not predictive. Nothing on Seen tells you what someone else feels, what they will do, or what will happen next. If a reading sounds certain about another person's heart, read it as "this is what the pattern suggests" — never as a fact about someone who isn't in the room.
What Seen is not
- Seen is not therapy, counseling, or mental health care of any kind.
- Seen is not medical, legal, or financial advice.
- Seen does not predict the future and makes no claim to.
- Seen is not a substitute for talking to the person the reading is about.
- Nothing in a reading is a professional's assessment of you or anyone else.
Decisions about your relationships, your safety, and your life are yours to make. Seen can hold up a mirror; it cannot make the call for you, and it isn't liable for choices you make after reading it.
If you're in real danger
In the US: call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line).
Outside the US: the International Association for Suicide Prevention keeps a directory of crisis lines by country at iasp.info/resources/Crisis_Centres.
If someone is hurting you, contacting the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788 in the US) is a real, low-bar step that doesn't depend on the other person.
Your content, your account
What you write into Seen — your intake answers, the memory you share, the question underneath — stays yours. Generating a reading requires sending that text to an AI provider in real time to produce your report; see Privacy for exactly what that involves and where things are stored. You're responsible for what you submit: don't use Seen to submit content that isn't yours to share, that identifies or harasses someone without their knowledge for that purpose, or that's illegal where you live.
Paid readings
Paid tiers are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. The product, price, currency, and any applicable tax are shown before payment. Creem acts as the merchant of record and handles checkout, receipts, taxes, refunds, and payment disputes. Seen does not receive or store your full card number or security code.
A purchase is complete only after the payment provider confirms it. Each purchase unlocks the reading round identified at checkout; it is not lifetime access to unlimited new readings. A copied, altered, pending, refunded, or disputed checkout does not create an active entitlement.
Delivery and access
- The Full Spread and The Mirror Lens unlock in the browser after payment confirmation.
- Human Reading, when offered, requires a working delivery email and is normally delivered within 24 hours after the order form is submitted.
- Keep your Creem receipt and order number. Browser storage remembers access on the current device; clearing site data or changing browsers may remove that local access record.
Refunds and support
Contact support@thisseen.com for a duplicate charge, a technical failure that prevents delivery, or a Human Reading that was not delivered as promised. A Human Reading may be cancelled before the practitioner begins work. Creem processes approved refunds, and mandatory consumer rights in your location still apply.
What belongs to Seen
The Seen name, the card artwork, the site design, and the wording of the prompts and interface are Seen's. You're welcome to share your own reading — a screenshot, the postcard, a copied passage — for your own personal, non-commercial use. Reproducing the site itself, the card deck, or the prompt system elsewhere isn't part of that.
No guarantees
Seen is provided as is. We work to keep readings thoughtful and the astronomical data accurate, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available every moment you want it. To the fullest extent the law allows, Seen and the people who make it aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential outcomes from using — or being unable to use — the site, including decisions made about a relationship based on a reading.
Changes
We may update these terms as Seen changes — a new tier, a new feature, a clearer boundary we realize we need to state. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continuing to use Seen after a change means you accept the update.
Ending things
You can stop using Seen and delete your data at any time — see the "Clear all data" option on the Privacy page. We can suspend or end access for accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent these terms, or use Seen in a way that isn't safe for other people.
